Brightening a dull garden
We were called on to modernise a garden in Henley through hard landscaping to create a patio area and raised border garden.
This was a dull, boring back garden when we arrived. Half of it was overtaken with an enormous conifer hedge. We removed this hedge, instantly doubling the size of the garden, and erected a new fence and trellis so the privacy remained.We then set about excavating the raised lawn area and removing the old patio. In it’s place, we laid a new sandstone patio with drainage system, and raised borders built from beautiful stone walling. These borders were planted with a lovely variety of perennials, bulbs, and a great mix of evergreen shrubs to ensure year round colour.
